Jeanette of the Chipettes
Who is Jeanette? What makes her special?
Jeanette is character for Alvin and the Chipmunks. To give you an idea of why she's special, here's a list of the other cast members of the Chipmunks:
- Alvin: spoiled, self-centered, head-strong. This self-proclaimed leader of the Chipmunks often gets the rest of his brothers in trouble by jumping head-first into a half-baked plan. He wears and red cap and a large red shirt with a large "A."
- Simon: Brainy, brilliant, intelligent, pessimistic, sarcastic, and conceited. Simon has a knack for chemistry, engineering, and such intelligence also breeds conceit. He wears a blue shirt, and has a set of glasses.
- Theodore: Simple, innocent, slow, talented. This chef is a master of cooking, which makes him overeat. He wears a green shirt and sometimes wears a chef's hat and a baker's spoon.
- Brittany: Spoiled, self-centered, fashion-savy. Brittany is the Prima Donna among the Chipettes. Similar to Alvin, Brittany will try to use anything and everything to achieve stardom. She usually dresses up in a light-red dress, and sporting a pink silk scarf.
- Eleanor Simple, innocent, slow, talented, practical. Similar to Theodore, Eleanor really likes food. She is just as good of a cook as Theodore. However, she tends to have a down-to-earth attitude about cooking.
- Dave: The full-time father and manager of the Chipmunks. Due to Alvin's antics, Dave is often stressed and overworked as a father, but he tries the best he can.
- Ms. (Beatrice) Miller: The full-time guardian for the Chipettes, the elderly Ms. Miller was once a famous actress, who now takes care of the girls. A bit on the ditsy side, Ms. Miller is often confused by the antics of the Chipettes.
Why do I like Jeanette?
I'm sure you're wondering, why is this guy in love with a chipmunk? Well, I like Jeanette's qualities. She wears large glasses, and always seems to have a dark blue shirt followed by a skirt. She's neither conceited, self-centered, spoiled, nor slow, which makes her my favorite character in the show. Jeanette is also very shy, but has a very practical side to her. Jeanette is intelligent, she is always seen reading books.
Oh and kudos to Stacey Jatko who reminded me that while I got Jeanette right, I totally messed up the names of Jeanette's sisters.
