Greetings Dear Ones

Your General David Petraeus, in Iraq, will be coming home to your country very soon to give his report on how well things have been going because of his recent military surge, prompted by President Bush. But, beware, beware, beware, I've just had word that your General Petraeus will not be able to give you his version of how things have been going in the war. Oh no, the official word on how well things are going in Iraq will come straight from the White House and the Bush word-bandits. Right now, in the
coziness of the White House, Bush and his staff writers are preparing the "Petraeus Report" with its glowing signs of progress on the war front. Bush has declared that God put him into high office so he could start and run this war in Iraq. Isn't that something? Imagine thinking that God would put anyone anyplace at all to start a war?! What a truly fantastical and bizarre way to think! Actually the war in Iraq is an unspeakable nightmare for most of us, and most of us want to pull the troops out immediately, immediately, immediately, if not sooner! George Bush is insensitive to how much most people urgently want this ill-conceived, adventurous war to end. He drones on about supporting the troops and winning, trying to convince everyone that the war is about benefits to the Iraqi people, when, in fact, all of the benefits of the war are going to the US contractors and US hired mercenaries and to the extended Bush family itself (that just by coincidence happens to be in the business of munitions manufacturing) to say nothing of Iraq's oil that the Bush administration is attempting to privatize. So, dear ones, keep all these abhorrent facts in mind while you are listening to the Bush/Petraeus report which will be coming to you soon through your radios and your television screens.

When George Bush dances at his little girl's wedding (Jenna has just become engaged) this will be the one and only positive accomplishment of his presidency, alas. It is amazing that he could manage this one small act of graciousness, considering the insensitivity and arrogance he has shown towards the lives of most others, and the ignorance and incompetence he has shown as "leader" of the free world.

Bless all of you who have worked for the impeachment of George Bush and Dick Cheney, two unbelievably deceptive and dangerous men. They should be out of office and put on trial in The Hague. That's where they belong! That's what your Grandma Minutia envisions!

Much love to you as always,
GM
