Jesus continues to be completely astonished that people anywhere in the world at any time would use His name in connection with the political affairs of mortal men. He is especially dismayed that any reference to Him by any governmental agent would be considered proper or appropriate. He is especially surprised that anyone in the United States of America would use His name in connection with any political issue or position taken to justify any point of view or manner of action based upon an alleged personal relationship with Him.

He proclaims that man’s way and God’s way should not be alien but, since man was given free will by his loving Creator, the Supreme Being, alas man has vainly chosen his own way of life which is too often motivated by fear and aggression. God’s way always provides pure love and absolute everlasting good; whereas man’s way does not. Grandma knows this because she has had the privilege of listening to Jesus speak as He presides over His heaven above here. Jesus heard George W. Bush evoke His name when asked the question, “Who is your favorite philosopher?” Jesus thought it strange that Mr. Bush would use His name in a political setting as he did. Jesus was disappointed by this because, He said, He is not a philosopher. (Philosophers are people like Socrates and Plato.) Jesus told us that He is Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Savior, the Son of God and the Divine messenger of Truth and Love. So, we are upset up here in heaven, and many of us have been actually weeping over Mr. Bush’s lack of perspicacity and accountability. Jesus was never referred to as a mere philosopher before George W. Bush, the mortal, had the nerve to call Him such. We here in heaven think Mr. Bush should be held responsible. We think Mr. Bush has trite judgment and quite often says ridiculous things. We don’t think he ever really knows what he is talking about. We think that his overall demeanor seems very odd and not in keeping with any holy wisdom or any sacred teaching whatsoever. For instance, we think he and his associates have shown very little in the way of love and forgiveness for enemies, as demanded by the Prince of Peace, our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. Most of us up here are bona fide angels, and therefore we are not supposed to become disturbed, upset and indignant. However, we most certainly are all of that and more!
