Relief At Last

Well Sweeties,

We can all breathe a lot easier these days, after November 20th. Our man, Barack Obama, has landed the big job. And we know that his "big job" is almost overwhelming and that there are difficult times ahead, but still, he will overcome every obstacle and claim his place as leader of the free world, restoring the United States of America as the revered country of the past. He will erase the reviled image of our country produced by his irresponsible predecessor.

These are fine new hopeful days we are living in, with the spirit of joyfulness in the air. Let's all pull together now, not letting anything get between us and our plans to move forward in unity and good fellowship. We will get our old democracy back, with improvements, with respect for the individual, no matter his race or creed, good jobs with proper pay, equal rights for women and minorities, more respect for all working men and women, health care for all, improved schools and education, all of the things we know, in our hearts, are right and good.

We all have been demoralized by the past eight long years, but we are smarter now and we have good leadership now. Barack Obama is an extraordinary man, a man of intelligence, sensitivity and sincerity. His interests lie in ethics and justice. Could we ask for more? He is the direct opposite of what we've had, so blessings on all of us. It's time to go to work now and begin our recovery to a solvent nation, a working nation and a civilized nation at peace with the world.

Your Grandma Minutia loves you.

All the best, and always remember "justice comes first, then peace."

See you soon.

Love and kisses,
GM
