Wasn’t it Abraham Lincoln who said, “A house divided cannot stand?” Or was it the Bible? The US is teetering at the moment, not quite standing. It isn’t standing for positive values, for open government, for a clean environment, for a free press, for children left behind, for people relying on Social Security, for waging a just war, for an honest place in the world, for exemplary world leadership.

The US is a house divided now, with nearly half of its citizenry shocked and appalled by those occupying its White House. Citizens are currently losing the protections provided by their Constitution.
