Yes, it's never enough bombs for Bush. He wants more bombs now, not less, and his desired bombs are of the most destructive type: cluster bombs. Your Grandma is afraid the fact is that George Bush never met a bomb he didn't like! And he refuses to sign the treaty banning cluster munitions! There is something wrong with our George W. Bush, something very wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong and that is so abundantly clear now!

You see, one hundred and eleven nations, including major NATO allies of the US, have adopted a treaty that sets an eight-year deadline to eliminate stockpiles of cluster arms, pernicious weapons that scatter thousands of small bombs across a wide area, where they pose a long-term deadly threat to innocents. Can you imagine not wanting to put a stop to these weapons? Any sane person would, don't you think? Bush not only failed to sign the treaty banning these cluster bombs but he has greatly opposed the treaty. But listen, even the British, our biggest friend in the world, signed the treaty, but not our guy Bush. The US is being run by one sick little puppy who wants his supper dish exactly when he wants it and where he wants it, and to hell with everyone else on the planet.
Any good thing, any way out of war and war mongering, is completely taboo in the Bush book of "Aggression Is Good." Bush also refused to sign a ban on land mines. (I suppose he can't imagine himself stepping on one.) Both of these treaties, the land mine treaty and the cluster arms treaty, would ban weapons that wreak more damage on civilians than soldiers and present a threat long after war ends. Our guy is obviously "treaty averse." "No treaty" is a principle for him: no treaty and no break for any little bit of common sense either, not even a nod in that direction. He is stuck in the "no man's land of ignorance." That is your Grandma's opinion and we still have free speech in this country right? Don't answer that... Blessings on you, my dearest ones, Your ever loving, Grandma Minutia
