June 4, '05 We're having a meeting today. We're getting together to discuss recent disturbing press events. A while ago Dan Rather presented a story on the CBS Evening News concerning the president's very unusual and irregular service in the National Guard during the Vietnnam war. Dan Rather and CBS were forced to retract the story because they couldn't confirm a certain document needed to prove that very unusual and irregular service by the president. And Dan Rather, a highly respected reporter for decades, was forced to apologize and resign from his job as anchor of the CBS Evening News.

And of course just recently Newsweek Magazine was also forced to retract that story it published about mistreatment of Muslim prisoners at US prisons around the world. Newsweek was criticized and forced to apologize and renounce its story about the Quran being abused by US guards. So, just today it seems that Newsweek's story about disrespect for the Muslims' holy book, the Quran, and other alleged disgusting charges of evil-doing by US prison guards are indeed true according to Pentagon records. So, at our meeting up here today, we decided that it will be no surprise at all if in time Dan Rather's story, about G. W. Bush and the very strange National Guard service he did, will be proven true as well. Time always has a way of telling.
