Hi kiddies, Grandma has been away. How are you? I just wanted to let you in on a letter I wrote to my Congressman today, and here goes: October 14, 2005 Dear Congressman, Since his “elections” to office as President of the United States, President G. W. Bush has proven, beyond any doubt, that he is not up to the job of President of the United States! He just simply is not!

Iraq (using 9/11 as an excuse) and the tragedy of Katrina (using his own personal cronies to organize help for those stranded) and now putting forth his own personal longtime lawyer to sit on the Supreme Court - what an insult to every thoughtful citizen! Mr. Bush lacks any sense of what is appropriate. For instance he “consoled” a widow of a fireman who lost his life on 9/11 which happened to be his eighth wedding anniversary, by saying to the grieving woman, “Wow. You got the double whammy!” I thought he should have been impeached on the spot! And of course he should be impeached now. He maintains crony ties to an element in our society of which we cannot be proud. Sincerely, Grandma Minutia
