I speak of President Obama. He has had only nine months in office and people expect him to have moved mountains already and to have created miracles even before his first year in office is completed. Come on people, Rome wasn't built in a day. And neither will a new progressive and idealistic America be built in a day, or even a year.

every other way. You have been so beleaguered by bad leadership, for so long, that when you finally have a president that can think, speak and make sense, you still stubbornly hang onto your fears and suspicions to such an extent that you are completely out of patience and will not wait to allow the new administration to move with its thoughtful and therefore deliberate pace in order to change things. You want change now, immediately, without delay, and without the necessary deliberations. You can't wait a year or two to see the changes you yearn for. So, you look back to the Republicans for hope and help. Really?! The Republicans who have shown themselves to be the all time big spenders and spending big for all the wrong things. I can't believe what little faith you seem to have. You haven't given Obama his right to at least a chance at turning your country around. He should have at least two years to show what he can do, not nine months for pity's sake!
And in the meantime, the unspeakably evil march goes on to see Obama fail. The cowardly and wicked Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney and the whole bunch of negative bullies, that the Republicans don't seem to object to, keep pressing their ugly agenda of halting health care reform and crushing every other reform that President Obama is trying to make happen. These bullies rule by fear, by hate and by false information that you swallow up because you have duly learned from the past to accept the worst. During WWII some of us learned the philosophy of "accentuating the positive and eliminating the negative." I suggest that you grasp onto this philosophy now. Have a little faith and wait for the positive while eliminating the aggressive negative. That is what your grandma wants you to do right now, starting today!
