G. W. Bush

Oh my! I wish a person could just get away and go on vacation and forget about George W. Bush, but no. People talk about him constantly and you just can't seem to get away from that conversation. People are saying that instead of being a problem solver, they think that Bush might actually be part of the problem. Part of the problem? Part of the problem? I think NOT.

The president IS the problem. He sets the "tone" in Washington and across the country. He sets the pace. He sets the agenda. He wants to ruin Social Security, or make a bad deal or a no deal, out of the New Deal. He wants oil and gas subsidies increased for his buddies in the fossil fuel business. He is quickly steering the US economy into devastation. Private sector jobs are being lost at a great rate daily. The dollar is falling in value. US foreign debt is mounting, at the tune of two billion dollars per day, borrowed from foreigners.

The Bush mantra is always "tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts." Weird isn't it? Maybe you don't think so if you're very, very rich and a "fossil-fuel-Republican." But most of us balk at the Bush "leadership" because Bush says one thing and does another. For instance, he says it's his job to identify the problems in the country. But just the same, he never points to the silly dunce cap he's wearing on his very own head.
