It's difficult to keep track of the many, many precedents this president has established, or has tried to establish. My short list is:
1) Destroying democracy, as we have know it here at home, while ironically attempting to ram democracy down the throats of Muslims abroad.

4) Stepping on our most vulnerable US citizens by approving a budget that cuts essential education, health assistance and nutrition. Heartless! 5) Violating women's medical privacy. (No doubt connected to the new government sanctioned faith-based fanaticism that is going on.) 6) Ruining our country's reputation in the world as an honorable leader. 7) Changing ethics rules to protect strong hammer-man Tom Delay. Disgusting! 8) Threatening a nuclear option of changing Senate filibuster rules. Unheard of! 9) Corrupting mass media by paying off reporters, etc. Shameful! 10) Presenting bad examples to our younger leaders for fair play and honest work. 11) Meddling with Social Security in an attempt at eventual total destruction of it. 12) Supplying lucrative contracts to cheaters and profiteers in the war on Iraq. 13) Restricting voting rights (with 80% of voting machines supplied by cronies). 14) Breaking promises concerning affordable prescription drugs. 15) Tampering with our courts by appointing radical right-wing judges. 16) Disregarding our environment, weakening EPA rules. 17) Permitting logging in our national forests, giving away public property to private corporate interests. 18) Giving vast amounts of aid to corporations (amounting to welfare for them). 19) Lessening workers' rights and rights of individual citizens. 20) Refusing to speak plainly and honestly or even coherently to the American people, almost operating a secret government. 21) Minimizing ("a few bad apples") the Abu Ghraib situation, and other Abu Ghraib-like torture situations, further ruining the reputation of the US. 22) Operating the government by borrowing enormous amounts of money, $2 billion daily, from foreign countries, making the US a debtor nation. 23) Neglecting the arts by cutting funds that support the arts in the US. 24) Demoralizing the US citizenry in general. So sad, depressing and mundane! 25) Insisting upon developing a ridiculously expensive new nuclear "bunker busting" bomb now at a time when, with 189 other countries, the US has a commitment to the nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) for the good of all countries. This nuclear bomb business is insanely surreal and evil. (!!!!!) 26) Harassing good citizens, labeling those who might question this president's policies as "unpatriotic." 27) Never ever questioning, discussing or even musing upon the reason for the tragedy our enemies dealt us on 9/11/2201 other than the trite expression, "They hate us because of our freedom." Hokum, a precedency of the presidency! 28) Acting in a rash and brazen way that is embarrassing and difficult to explain to one's grandchildren! 29) Disappointing Grandma Minutia! 30) Disappointing Grandma Minutia's friends! More later. Keep your chin up. And if you have two chins, as Grandma does, keep them both up.
