John Ashcroft hasn't flown on any commercial airline flights since August 6th, 2001. Yes, he has seen fit to be prudent since that date because it seems that on August 6th, 2001 the FBI informed President Bush, at his home in Crawford, TX, that Osama bin Laden might be planning attacks on the US by hijacking US planes. And sure enough, just a few weeks later; we all know what happened.

President Bush obviously must have informed Attorney General John Ashcroft about the FBI intelligence regarding Osama bin Laden and that was lucky for him (John Ashcroft) because flying on commercial airlines was extremely unsafe after this intelligence report of August 6, 2001. Terrorists were lurking around our airplanes ready for their chance to cause disaster. Oh if only we all could have been warned!

I had nightmares about flying after September 11, 2001, so I don’t fly now. Ashcroft flies of course, but he still isn't flying on commercial airlines as he used to. He flies in rented jets and I'll bet you that he thanks his president for every single moment of his precious life these days!
