Willie Nelson has just written a new protest song! I haven't heard it yet, but I think it's called, "What Ever Happened to Peace on Earth?"

When I heard about it, some lyrics from the 1960's jumped to mind:
                1, 2, 3, 4 What are we fighting for?
                We don't give a damn, next stop Viet Nam.

Let's hope that the Nelsons and the Dylans of this world will be able to wake us up. They tell the truth. Others don't; they profit from war.

It's patriotic to work for peace. I'm so glad to be back with you, after Christmas vacation. So, despite everything in the world that is wrong and worldly, let's make it a Happy New Year.
