Whatever Happened To The New "Tone" In Washington?

George W. Bush said that he was going to change "the tone" in Washington, D. C. when he got "elected." Does anyone remember that? Hello?

Bush has indeed set a new "tone" for government and it is one of change from inclusiveness to exclusiveness, excluding all progressive ideas. Bush is known by too many as "Mr. Uncooperative." It's his way or no way. The tone has gone from discordant to unbearable disharmony. Former participants in the political process now experience resentful rage and frustration. Any presidential leadership that was expected has turned into "bully in charge." Everyone is upset and angry these days in Washington, D. C., where vitriol seems to be taken on a daily basis instead of vitamins.
