“Media Blitz” - sounds like something the German Luftwaffe would do in WWII. But now Bush aides plan to have a 90 day media strategy, in the form of a “blitz,” in order to define Senator Kerry as “indecisive.” So we will have a choice between Kerry’s supposedly “indecisive” modus operandi and Bush’s “decisive” modus operandi as president.
Let’s see. What would we rather have? A recklessly decisive president who says, “We will go ahead and destroy our enemies even if we destroy our place in the world,” or a president who says, “Okay, wait a minute, let’s reconsider whether or not we should destroy another country, killing many innocent people. Maybe we could do something else to protect ourselves.”
An intelligent person, like Senator Kerry, is always considered “indecisive,” by those who lack maturity, because he looks at everything thoroughly, from all angles, and considers many options. Whereas, in crisis, the lesser man succumbs immediately to his knee jerk revenge reaction, and later must be encumbered with the results of his quick “decisive” behavior: His bombs have already fallen. He has already alienated his allies. He is already dealing in ruthless hegemony and he is already a killer.
