Appearing proud of himself and aware of the regal ceremony taking place in London in his honor, President Bush walks before the Queen's elegant military guard, striding along with appreciation for the significant historical ceremony in which he is participating. He appears at home in England and he appears to be enjoying the good friendship of Tony Blair, and yet, and yet, and it grieves me to say this, the president wears a bulletproof vest.
Come to think of it, the president has been looking a bit bulky in his suits lately, maybe it's evidence of protective armor underneath... I guess whistling a happy tune, to ward off doubt and fear, isn't quite enough when one must be anticipating an ambush.
