
One of my favorite
hobbies is eating - oh how I love to eat! Following are some of my favorite recipes.
Missy & I really enjoy all of the frozen treats the most. We hope your
mommy will try some of these recipes - we know you will love them!

Fruity Yogurt Treats
Ingredients:
2 mashed kiwis or a
jar of baby food fruit
8 oz. strawberry(or any other
flavor)yogurt
Directions:
Mix together, freeze in ice cube tray -
serve.

Frozen
Peanut Butter Yogurt Treats
Ingredients:
1 (32oz) container of vanilla yogurt
1 cup peanut butter
Directions: Place peanut
butter in a microwave safe dish and
microwave until melted. Mix yogurt and the melted
peanut butter in a mixing bowl. Pour mixture into
cup cake papers and freeze -
serve.
Yogurt Pups Recipe
Ingredients: 16 ounces plain nonfat
yogurt
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
Directions: Dissolve bouillon in
water. Combine water & yogurt
and blend thoroughly. Pour into small containers,
cover, freeze - serve.

Cheese N Garlic
Bites
Ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon butter-softened
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
Mix flour and cheese
together. Add garlic powder
and softened butter. Slowly add
milk and
mix till
you form a stiff dough. You may not need
all of the
milk. Knead on floured board for a few minutes.
Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into
shapes and
place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees
oven for 15 minutes. Let cool in oven with
the door
slightly open until cold and firm. Refrigerate to keep
fresh.

Banana Pupcakes
Ingredients
: 2 cups water
2 bananas
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 egg
3 tablespoons honey
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mash bananas. In bowl,
mix
all ingredients well. Pour into cup cake papers &
bake 20 minutes.

Cheesy Dog Biscuits
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1
1/4 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/4 lb. corn oil margarine
1 clove garlic, crushed
Pinch
of salt
Milk
Directions:
Grate the cheese & let stand until room temperature.
Cream the cheese with the softened margarine,
garlic,
salt & flour. Add enough milk to form into a
ball. Chill for 1/2 hour. Roll unto floured board. Cut
into shapes and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes
or until slightly brown, and firm. Makes 2 to 3
dozen, depending on size.

Liver-Flavored Dog
Biscuits
Ingredients: 3/4 cup wheat germ
3/4 cup dry powdered milk
1
egg
1
jar (3 1/2 oz.) liver-flavored baby food
1
tablespoon bran (optional)
1 tablespoon Brewers or plain yeast
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. If mixture is too dry, add
just water to bind ingredients together. Drop by
teaspoons
on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350
degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes about 18.

Whole Wheat Chicken Biscuits
Ingredients: 1/2 cup cornmeal

1/2 tablespoons oil
2/3 cup clear chicken broth
2 cups whole wheat flour
Directions: Mix all ingredients together, kneading the dough
when all is mixed. Cut into desired shape with
cookie
cutters. Bake at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes.
Let
cool - serve.

Bow Wow Biscuits
Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2
cup wheat germ
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
8
tablespoons bacon grease (or margarine)
1 egg - beaten
1
teaspoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons beef broth (or chicken)
1/2 cup ice water
6 slices bacon, crumbled (optional)
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)
Directions: In a large mixing bowl, mix all
ingredients
thoroughly to form a dough. Roll the dough
out with a rolling pin and cut into desired shapes
with a cookie cutter. Bake biscuits at 350 degrees
for
20-25 minutes.

Milk Biscuits
Ingredients: 1 jar strained baby meat
6 heaping tablespoons wheat germ
4
heaping tablespoons powdered milk
Directions: Form 5-6 balls and press on greased
cookie sheet.
Bake
10-15 minutes in 350 degrees oven

Chicken & Honey Biscuits
Ingredients: 2 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
1/4
cup lukewarm water
1 egg
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons minced garlic
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cracked wheat
Directions: In a large bowl, disslove yeast in water.
Add egg, broth, honey and garlic. Gradually
blend in the flour and cracked wheat. Add
enough
wheat flour to form a stiff dough.
Transfer to a floured surface and knead until
smooth (3 - 5 minutes). Shape the dough into
a ball and roll to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into biscuits
with a bone-shaped cookie cutter. Place on
ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 1/4
inch apart. Gather up the scraps, roll out again, and
cut additional biscuits. Bake at 325 degrees for 45
minutes. Let cool overnight. Makes several dozen
biscuits that freeze well.

Doggie Delights
Ingredients: 2 cups whole wheat flour
6 tablespoons bacon fat or margarine
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 tablespoon molasses
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup water (approximately)
Directions: Combine dry ingredients. Blend in fat or
margarine. Add egg and molasses. Mix
thoroughly. Add enough water to form a dough
ball. Roll out 1/4 inch thick & cut into dog bones.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees
for 20 minutes. Makes 30 - 40 cookies depending on
the size of the dog bone cookie cutter.

Birthday Cake #1
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking flour
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/2 cup corn oil
1 jar (2 1/2 oz.) strained beef or liver baby food
4 eggs
3 strips dog beef jerky, crumbled (optional)
Plain
yogurt for icing
Directions: Sift flour and baking powder together; set
aside
In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed,
cream margarine until smooth. Add corn oil, baby
food and eggs; mix until smooth. At low speed,
gradually beat flour mixture into beef mixture until
batter is smooth. Fold in beef jerky. Pour batter into
well-greased and floured 8x5x3 loaf pan. Bake in 325
degree oven for 70 minutes. Let cool on wire rack a
few
minutes before removing from pan to cool completely.
Ice
each slice with yogurt.
Birthday Cake #2
Ingredients: 1 lb extra-lean ground beef
8 eggs
1 cup oat meal
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
Directions: Using electric mixer, blend all
ingredients until
completely blended. Pour into oblong pan sprayed
with non-stick spray. Bake in 350 degrees oven for
25 - 25 minutes. Allow to cool - carefully invert on to
plate and frost with non-fat sour cream. Store all
left overs in refrigerator.
Birthday Cake #3
Ingredients: 4 cups whole wheat
flour
Peanut Butter Frosting
4 tablespoons liver powder
1
container whipped cream cheese
4 teaspoons baking powder
Approx. 1/2 cup
peanut butter
2/3
cup vegetable oil
2 eggs beaten
2 cups beef stock
Directions: In a bowl, combine flour, liver
powder and baking powder.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Grease 6"
round pan and put batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for
about 25 minutes. Let cool, frost and decorate.
