The Flower Field Series was designed in year 2000 to take advantage of the peculiar qualities of Effetre's Intense Black Glass...so the background has a webbed, broken quality. Different canes are used to make the florals. The 70’s broad-petaled flower that decorated refrigerators permeate my memories and find another niche in this series. The "Flower Field" Beads appeared in the juried show "Shape of Things to Come" at the ProArts Gallery in Oakland, California.
