Welcome to the USS SAINT PAUL Association
Established 1984

The objectives of the association are fraternal, patriotic, and historical;
to preserve and strengthen comradeship among its members; to perpetuate the
memory and history of its deceased comrades, and to provide social and recreational
activities for its members.
The regular members of the association are members and former members of the
Armed Services and their families who served on board the USS Saint Paul (CA-73),
The USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul (SSN-708), or staffs embarked in either ship.
Memorial Display:
The association has established a memorial display
aboard the Navy's Museum Ship, The USS Massachusetts,(BB-59) at Fall River, MA. The centerpiece is a plaque immortalizing the 55 men who lost their lives while serving aboard
"The Fighting Saint". All of the artifacts and memorabilia we could locate and
assemble form the balance of the exhibit. If you have any artifacts or
memorabilia you care to donate, they will be greatly appreciated.
Get Together Information:
The association strongly encourages get-togethers of members and their wives who live in the same area,
whenever possible. A considerable number of these gatherings, usually dinner
at a restaurant or a cookout at a members home, have taken place. One included
a visit aboard the USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul (SSN-708) in Norfolk, Virginia.
Roster:
The association publishes a roster of members. The roster is very useful
in helping to locate former shipmates.
Newsletter:
The association publishes a quarterly newsletter, "The Roving Saint".
It describes the activities of the association and carries personal notes
about members. It also serves to keep members posted as plans develop
for reunions and get-togethers. In addition, it provides interesting
and useful information for all hands.
E-mail Addresses:
The association maintains an E-mail directory of and for the use of the members. The directory is maintained by member
Dennis Amman and may be accessed at the following link:

We extend our sincere thanks to Todd Lawrimore who designed and donated
the graphics and the original lay out for this web site to the association.
Todd remains a vital member of the web site team.
