LAST STORY FROM OUR TRIP

This is the last story from our trip. It says among other things, "I know everyone is going to ask is that if it was Life-Altering. Well for me I would have to say yes to some degree. It was not as altering as I first thought it would be. For some reason I believed I was going to return from this trip with all the answers to my life's questions." Let us know how you liked the stories about our trip and how we could have improved the articles, should we have included more information about the camp sites, routes we took, etc. Thanks for reading our stories!

Ever wanted to travel, but couldn't find the means? Are you planning to travel, and just need a little help in choosing where to go? If you would like to just follow along on our adventure across the country or use our experiances to choose where and where not to go, check us out!

We, two twenty-somethings, are packing the little that we own and throwing it all into a used-renovated camper and venturing out to see what only a few people really see: America. I’m not talking about a two-week vacation, I’m talking about a ten month LIFE- ALTERING ADVENTURE exploring, hiking, rafting, climbing, backpacking and truly enjoying all that this magnificent country-side has to offer. We hoped that linking to the Net will allow friends and family, as well as those interested in travel, to follow along on our traveling adventures (and mis-adventures).

Being in the prime of our lives, we truly believe that this will be life-altering. That the people we think we are, will only fade into the people that we will discover from this adventure. I can only imagine now what we will find, but being able to tell our story will enable others to drift away from the every-day lives that we left behind and travel with us. Travel with us to the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park, to an off-beaten trail in Olympic National Park, down the Colorado River in a raft, and up to the top of Pikes Peak.

Planned trip destinations by state:
1. Arizona: Grand Canyon N.P.
2. California: San Francisco, Redwood N.P., Lassen Volcanic N.P., Yosemite N.P., Kings Canyon & Seqouia N.P.
3. Colorado: Mesa Verde N.P., Aspen, Rocky Mountain N.P., Colorado Springs & Denver.
4. Montana: Glacier N.P.
5. Nevada: Lake Tahoe & Las Vegas.
6. New Mexico: Carlsbad Caverns N.P.
7. Oregon: Crater Lake N.P. & Coos Bay.
8. Texas: Big Bend N.P.
9. Utah: Arches Canyon N.P & Canyonlands.
10. Washington: Olympic N.P., North Cascades N.P., Mt. Rainer & Mt. Saint Helens.
11. Wyoming: Grand Tetons & Yellowstone N.P.
