Reversen Time is owned and operated by Len Hambleton, Objects Conservator, Historic Preservationist and Museum Conservation Consultant.Len Hambleton He specializes in sympathetic wooden clock case restoration , reviving and preserving the original finish wherever possible. Missing elements are replicated through carving, turning or fretsawn from similar species of woods.

Lens' broad experience and education include both Museum Administration and Objects Conservation. His intensive 2,000 hour internships have been served at Colonial Williamsburg, in Va., The Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, B.C., and the Peterborough Centennial Museum and Archives in Ontario. Numerous workshops have contributed to his ongoing professional development which includes gold gilding.

His reverence for wood extends beyond the lab to the harvesting of hardwood trees, trucking them to the sawmill and completing private commissions.

Len brings his practical experience to the repair and restoration of wooden clock cases and art frames, offering his skills to treat your family heirlooms with all the necessary care and attention they deserve.
