			Callie is a 15-3/4" white factored sable. Although she sports a short, plush coat; her elegant neck, showmanship, and particularly sound movement and structure made her a ringside favorite while she was on the road. A special thank you to Diane Steele for her expert handling and care of Callie. Diane was responsible for all of Callie's wins except for 1 point. The highlights of her show career to date, were the 1995 Westminster KC BOS win under Judge Marion M. Hodesson, and her fourth place finish in the 9-11 year veteran bitch class at the 2000 Sheltie National under Judge Charlotte Tull. Everything that we currently own in sable comes down through Callie. She was our first homebred champion and the result of our very first litter of our current sable line. Recently spayed on turning 9 years old, she only looks 4 years old. We look forward to a fun veteran career with her as a special. You can expect to see her in the veteran bitch class. Callie was born on July 25, 1990. General - Callie is the Alpha dog of our house. She fears nothing (except thunderstorms, when she turns to jelly). She has attacked dogs 3 times her size when she thought her owners were being threatened. She is very sweet natured otherwise and is not a bully. She is not usually the instigator, but more the matriarchal authority figure. Callie is a very sweet dog with people and listens well. She is one of our champion tetherball shelties and a happy joyous dog to live with.
