Colby is a 15-3/4" pure for sable female. She is a very beautiful girl who has never really gotten a chance to show what she can do in the ring, and at 8+ years of age she probably won't get that chance. Unfortunately, Colby and full litter sister Reba hit their prime right when our family was going through a major (5 year) life style change. Her head although not quite as correct as Reba's is quite pleasing. She has a very correct structure, elegant neck, and her chest, coat and movement are better than 'Reba'. Colby proved to be a wonderful producer in her single 5-puppy litter. She produced our Ch. Heart O' Gold Noble Quest 'Logan', and Southwinds Amber Waves (Pointed) 'Amber'. Colby was born 2/4/93. She is full litter sister to our Heart O' Gold Country Girl (Pointed) 'Reba' and Heart O' Gold Mr. Bojangles 'Bo'.
General - Colby is a very energetic spirit. She loves to jump and is capable of snatching toys, bugs and tree branches at heights of 5 feet off the ground. Although she is a very sweet natured dog, she is also our biggest blockhead. We sometimes call her our 'air head' since she loves to bite at he air coming in the open car windows while riding in the summer time. Colby is also a tetherball sheltie.
