Logan is a 15-7/8" pure for sable dog. He sports a big coat and is probably the prettiest and most correct overall sheltie we have ever bred. He has a pretty eye, natural ears, nice chest and rear, and is a sound mover. He is a strikingly beautiful dog who has produced well in very limited usage. He does not appear to be white factored even though much of our line is. Logan finished his Championship in 5 months. He was shown from September 1999 to February 2000, which included a 4 week layoff for the holidays. On the way to his Championship he picked up 4 Best of Breeds. All 4 Best of Breeds from the classes were over specials. Thank you to Roxanne P. Berton for his first major (4 points) and Judge John C. Frederick Peddie for his second major (4 points) and group win to finish. Last and most importantly, our heartfelt thanks and praise to his handler Rose C. Chandless for her expert care, training, and handling of Logan. From beginning to end a class act. We know how much you love him and we know he is in the best possible hands when he is with you. Logan is available at stud by private treaty. Contact us by Email for current rates and terms. General - Logan is a very gentle, sweet natured, loving dog. His name seems quite appropriate as he exudes a kind of 'noble' air. He can act very macho. He likes to find a high perch where he can regally oversee his kingdom. He also loves to scoot his feet, in that masculine manner that some dogs do, kicking grass, gravel, or whatever lies underfoot for yards in every direction. See Heart O' Gold Eternal Quest 'Morgan' for an example of what Logan can produce. « Back to our boys « |
