Reba is a 15-1/4" pure for sable female. She has probably the most correct head of any Sheltie we have bred to date. Her sweet eye, smooth features, correct planes, full underjaw, natural ears, and melting expression have won many compliments over the years. On top of this she has a long elegant neck, sound body, fluid movement, and shows reasonably well. Her most definable faults are a narrow chest and short plush coat. I say fault, but actually her coat is correct per the standard. We have been frustrated in campaigning her, by judges looking past this very outstanding Sheltie for less deserving competition with more coat. She is full litter sister to our Heart O' Gold Dynasty Delight 'Colby' and Heart O' Gold Mr. Bojangles 'Bo'.
General - Reba is a complicated mixture temperament wise. She is a very sweet loving dog who loves attention, but she defends her turf staunchly and takes nothing from the other dogs. Reba is our 'ceiling fan' dog - we think she has a loose screw. Even though we never turn the ceiling fan on (because she goes nuts), as soon as she walks into the room, she gets under the fan and starts to bark and twirl. This is constant and she never tires of it. Reba is also a tetherball sheltie.
