As members of the Central Virginia Shetland Sheepdog Club (CVSSC) and the American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) we are committed to the rescue of purebred Shetland Sheepdogs in need. We believe that if all breeders helped provide placement networking for their breed to their local animal shelters, the overcrowding problems would be reduced substantially, leaving more time and resources to educate the general public concerning mixed breed responsibilities. When we have purebred Shelties for adoption we will post them on this page.
