 Northern Virginia Sheltie Rescue is in urgent need of permanent and foster homes for these dogs. Also needed are donations in the form of money, old dog supplies, crates, leashes, collars, medical supplies, dog food, beds, crate pads, etc. Any unused items that can be spared would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Bee-bop-a-lu-la, spayed, f, 11 yrs, rabies due 11/17/02, hw 11/17/00, dhlpp 11/17/00, 31 lbs., mammory mass removed, had pyrometra, shave down every summer, had dental in 1999. Sable (PA RESCUE)
  2. Itsy, f, 8, rabies due 4/06/02, dhlpp & hw 11/16/00, spayed, arythmia grade 2, no meds necessary. Blue (NVSR RESCUE - Elaine to foster)
  3. Blue Angel, f, spayed, 11, rabies due 6/18/02, dhlpp & hw 11/17/00, extracted a couple of teeth in november 1999. Very healthy. Blue (NVSR RESCUE - Elaine to foster)
  4. Purple Haze, m, neutered, 10 yr 11 mo., rabies 6/22/02, dhlpp & hw 11/15/00, neutered yesterday, removed pigment of mass from right perianum, everything fine, bloodwork is normal, dental 11/99 Blue (NVSR)
  5. Smokey Robinson, m, neutered yesterday, 10 yr 11 mo., rabies 04/08/02, dhlpp & HW 4/08/00, skin problems around neck sometimes which is only treated with medicated bath. Tri (NC RESCUE)
  6. Pauly, m, 11 yr, rabies 10/27/02, dhlpp & hw 10/27/00, neutered yesterday, left testicle was 3 x larger than right. Possible cushings, tumor, sexual hormone imbalance, but most likely certolly (sp?) cell tumor, probably cancerous, doesn't matastisize and is usually fine after removed with no subsequent problems. Remove lypome (fatty growth) right side of face. Sable (PA RESCUE )
  7. Roy Orbison, m, 11 yr 1 mo, rabies 6/11/02, dhlpp & HW 11/09/00, only medical problem was duct obstruction in eye used topical antibiotics, had cough at one time, but lungs sounded fine, no heart problems, neutered yesterday. 31 lbs Sable (NC RESCUE)
