Shane is a 16-3/4" neutered sable male. He is from an early sable litter where we decided not to perpetuate the line. He was a very promising puppy, but went oversize. In addition, ears and fronts in this litter were not good to the point where we felt it was not wise to fight the battle. Shane earned his C.D. in a single weekend by going 3 for 3 legs with average scores in the mid-180's. He was a consistent performer who had fun in the ring, but will never be a precise top scorer. Shane was born 5/31/90.
General - Shane has a very sweet personality. He is our 'car' dog. He gets mad at us if we don't take him along on rides. We think he is near sighted, as he barks at stoplights and stop signs like they are birds, or people. Shane loves to play catch and can field throws from across the room like an outfielder. Every night when we go to bed, he hops up on the bed and washes our face for about 5 minutes before settling down to go to sleep. It is like he can't sleep unless he gets to do this.
