He married Jenny Mullins in Halifax County, VA, November 18, 1800. She was the daughter of ? Mullins and Mary Toombs.

3 ii. Parthenia Cassaday was born in VA July 9, 1811. Parthenia died February 1, 1905 in Tuscola, IL, at 93 years of age. She married Sigler Heiss Lester in Paris, IL, May 14, 1833. Sigler was born in VA October 29, 1804. He was the son of John Lester and Mary Ziegler. Sigler died May 22, 1864 in Garrett, IL, at 59 years of age. 1. Christopher¹ Flaugher birth date unknown.

He married Elizabeth Banfield.

Christopher Flaugher and Elizabeth Banfield had the following child:

2 i. Sydny K.² Flaugher was born in Greenup County, KY August 3, 1812. Sydny died January 27, 1882 in IL, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred 1882 in Douglas County, IL, Lower Lester Cemetery. She married Samuel Lester in Greenup County, KY, December 8, 1829. Samuel was born in Blair Creek, Floyd County, KY March 6, 1806. He was the son of John Lester and Mary Ziegler. Samuel died September 22, 1860 in Douglas County, IL, at 54 years of age. His body was interred 1860 in Douglas County, IL, Lower Lester Cemetery. First Generation

1. John¹ Lester was born in Tug Creek, WV June 9, 1780. John died October 22, 1852 in Tuscola, IL, at 72 years of age.

He married Mary Ziegler. Mary was born in KY March 1, 1785. Mary died 1835 in Tuscola, IL.

John Lester and Mary Ziegler had the following children:

2. Sigler Heiss² Lester (John¹) was born in VA October 29, 1804. Sigler died May 22, 1864 in Garrett, IL, at 59 years of age. His body was interred 1864 in Tuscola, IL, Upper Lester Cemetery.

He married Parthenia Cassaday in Paris, IL, May 14, 1833. Parthenia was born in VA July 9, 1811. She was the daughter of Daniel Cassaday and Jenny Mullins. Parthenia died February 1, 1905 in Tuscola, IL, at 93 years of age.

Sigler Heiss Lester and Parthenia Cassaday had the following children:

9 i. Harriett Ann³ Lester was born in Garrett Twp, IL May 26, 1835. Harriett died May 12, 1915 in Tuscola, IL, at 79 years of age. She married William Howe in IL, November 23, 1853. William was born in Bourbon County, KY November 23, 1829. William died January 27, 1892 in Douglas County, IL, at 62 years of age.

10 ii. Eliza Jane Lester was born in Garrett Twp, IL May 26, 1835. Eliza died January 23, 1918 at 82 years of age. She married James Harvey Howe in Charleston, IL, February 27, 1857. James was born in Bourbon County, KY June 1, 1832. James died March 24, 1895 at 62 years of age.

11 iii. Almeta Juliet Lester was born in IL February 9, 1839. Almeta died January 27, 1892 at 52 years of age. She married Elbert S. Crowley in Coles County, IL, February 4, 1858.

12 iv. John Daniel Lester was born in IL December 5, 1840. John died April 10, 1904 in Tuscola, IL, at 63 years of age. His body was interred 1904 in Tuscola, IL. He married Anna E. Edwards in Douglas County, IL, December 27, 1866.

13 v. Louisa Emily Angeline Lester was born in Coles County, IL December 28, 1842. Louisa died September 1, 1897 in Clinton, IN, at 54 years of age. She married Daniel C. Johnson in Douglas County, IL, April 1866.

14 vi. Mary Elizabeth Lester was born in IL November 28, 1844. Mary died November 6, 1845 in IL, at less than one year of age. Her body was interred 1845 in Tuscola, IL, Upper Lester Cemetery.

15 vii. Orlando B. Lester was born in IL January 19, 1847. Orlando died November 30, 1915 in Washington, DC, at 68 years of age. He married Alice Wyndham.

He married Sydny K. Flaugher in Greenup County, KY, December 8, 1829. Sydny was born in Greenup County, KY August 3, 1812. She was the daughter of Christopher Flaugher and Elizabeth Banfield. Sydny died January 27, 1882 in IL, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred 1882 in Douglas County, IL, Lower Lester Cemetery.

20 ii. Juliana Lester was born in IL June 21, 1831. Juliana died June 23, 1873 at 42 years of age. Her body was interred 1873 in Douglas County, IL, Lower Lester Cemetery. She married Benjamin F. Beavers in IL, April 24, 1849.

21 iii. Perry Lester was born in IL August 17, 1833. Perry died January 23, 1883 at 49 years of age. His body was interred 1883 in Douglas County, IL, Cartwright Cemetery. He married Elvira Randolph in Douglas County, IL, March 27, 1862.

22 iv. Stephen M. Lester was born in IL October 7, 1836. He married Arlena J. Gillum December 20, 1860.

23 v. Thomas G. Lester was born in IL September 2, 1838. Thomas died March 7, 1863 in Murfreesboro, TN, at 24 years of age. His body was interred 1863 in Douglas County, IL, Lower Lester Cemetery. Thomas served in the military in Douglas County, IL. Illinois 79th Infantry, Company B.

16. Lemuel P. Oelonzo³ Lester (Sigler Heiss², John¹) was born in Coles County, IL July 7, 1849. Lemuel died December 23, 1918 in Tuscola, IL, at 69 years of age. His body was interred 1918 in Tuscola, IL, Upper Lester Cemetery.

He married Luvina A. Rice in Douglas County, IL, February 27, 1872. Luvina was born in KY May 3, 1848. Luvina died August 5, 1948 in Tuscola, IL, at 100 years of age. Her body was interred 1948 in Tuscola, IL, Upper Lester Cemetery.
