Highland Park Neighborhood

Neighborhood Associations:

Fort Hill Civic Association (generally Highland Street west) meets the first Tuesday of every month at the convent at 17 Highland Park Street, from 7pm until 8:30pm; contact Co-Chairs: Ernest Coston at 617.442-3296 or Peter Lee at 617.442.3799

Hawthorne Neighborhood Association (generally Highland Street East) meets at 7 PM the second Monday of every month at 9 Fulda Street. Contact Sam at 617.427.0613

Highland Park Greenspace Committee

The Greenspace committee meets at 7 PM on the third Wed. of the month at the Cooper Center. Call Nancy Kafka at 617.442.1192

Community Gardens:

Margaret Wright Memorial Garden on Fort Avenue: contact Ruth Potee at 617.442.5985 or Valerie Madden at 617.445.4110

Cooper Community Center Garden and urban gardening education programs on Linwood Street: contact Willy Brown at 617.442.1577 or 617.722.5227.

The Cooper Center is also looking for volunteers to work with youths in their computer lab.
