Angeles area Workshop

Sunday, July 17, 7:00-10:00pm
at Hill-Harbison House - Adopt-a-Shop Pro Brad Parker. Brad Parker, our
workshop's pro writer mentor, will lead a workshop on how the Nashville Number
System can help you improve your songwriting. Also, be prepared with a
song to play live, on CD, or cassette plus typed lyric sheets.
Sunday, July 31, 7:00-10:00pm
at Hill-Harbison House - Group Song Evaluations. Song evaluation are one
of the most valuable ways to improve our current and future work. Receiving
critiques helps us to understand how our songs are coming across to impartial
listeners. Giving feedback to others helps us develop the skill to better
refine our own songs. These workshops are also a great way to meet
potential co-writers. Bring a song on CD, cassette, or to play live plus 10
copies of your typed lyric sheet. Lyrics only can also be critiqued.
Thursday, August 11, 7:30-10:30pm - Songwriter Lineup

Arleen Nicastro
has a house in Nashville that she
is interested in renting or selling so she can return to Austin.
She prefers to find someone via word-of-mouth, and it is ideal for a writer or
musician. It is on the west side of town, one exit outside the 440 loop,
near I40 and White Bridge/Briley Parkway.
Convenient to everything and completely remodeled. It is a 2 bedroom/1
bath cottage with hardwood floors and an upgraded kitchen and bathroom.
It has a sunset view of the creek out back, with no neighbors behind.
Very private and very inspiring. Anyone interested in further information
please have them e-mail Arleen at arleen.nicastro@att.net. Time is of the
essence.
Send your email address to seth@sethjackson.net to keep informed of
the latest workshop activities and last-minute updates.
