Hosted by Severin Browne. Robert Morgan Fisher, Chad Watson, and Cindy Alexander,  Earl Grey, Lisa Johnson, and Andy Corwin. Special guest TBA. Free admission.

Sunday, Sept. 25,
7:00-10:00pm at Hill-Harbison House - Guest Speaker Trina Harmon.  One of today's top songwriters, TRINA HARMON, will be offering a FREE Seminar for NSAI members on Sept. 25th, 2005.  Along with writing songs for artists such as Jessica Simpson, Hillary Duff, Amy Grant/Vince Gill, Brandy, Kellie Coffey, She Daisy, & Jesse McCartney, Trina has founded THE KYAM GROUP, an artist/songwriter development company, where she helps artists & writers at any level, transform and rise to where they want to be.  Trina will give an educational and emotional look at every aspect of being successful in today's music industry, answer all your questions, as well as give critiques on your songs! You do not want to miss this special event

Sunday, Oct. 9,
7:00-10:00pm at Hill-Harbison House - Pitch to Publisher Joanne Ledesma.  Joanne Ledesma is a more than a successful publisher with extensive contacts in all areas of the business. She has been an advocate for musicians and artists in her community for over 15 years and a wealth of information about the industry. Joanne will be listening for songs that she can place in film and TV, with recording artists, and with other areas of the industry where money can be made. In addition, she will offer writers advice and suggestions on avenues in which they might find success in marketing their music.  I've attended many publisher pitch sessions over the years, but none have been like the ones featuring Joanne Ledesma

Songs to be presented *MUST* recorded on CD.  No live performances will be permitted. Bring your best material!

Thursday, Oct. 13, 7:30-10:30pm - Songwriter Lineup at Hallenbeck's General Store, 5510 N. Cahuenga Blvd, North Hollywood.  Hosted by Eddie Cunningham.  Eddie is a well-known singer-songwriter in the LA area, and he always brings us top-quality writers.  This is sure to be a great evening.  Performers TBA.

Sunday, October 23,
7:00-10:00pm at Hill-Harbison House - Group Song Evaluations. Song evaluation are one of the most valuable ways to improve our current and future work. Receiving critiques helps us to understand how our songs are coming across to impartial listeners. Giving feedback to others helps us develop the skill to better refine our own songs.  These workshops are also a great way to meet potential co-writers. Bring a song on CD, cassette, or to play live plus 10 copies of your typed lyric sheet.  Lyrics only can also be critiqued.
