The Film Music Network presents
a monthly networking meeting on the first Monday of each month at
7:00 (doors open at 6:30) at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn, 4222 Vineland
Avenue, Studio City, CA. Admission is $10 for non-members, and memberships
Billy Block's Western Beat, first Thursday
of every month at 742 N. Highland Grounds on Highland Avenue in Hollywood.
A focal point for the country music scene in Southern California, Western
Beat features performances by some of the top country songwriters in Los
Angeles and Nashville. Featured performances start at 8:00PM, open
mic at 6:30. Sign-up for the open mic starts at 6:00PM. Free admission.
Billy Block's Western Beat Roots Revival, every Tuesday night at
8:00pm at the Exit Inn. Featuring up-and-coming bands from Nashville and
beyond, followed by the weekly Hillbilly Jam with some super red-hot
pickers and players. Cover charge is $5.
