Sample #034 USA: Newman Jackson Holder (1818-1896), born NC, died Texas, married Martha Ann Moss in Cherokee Co. NC 1847; in Hood Co. TX 1870s-1880s, moved to Donley Co. TX late 1880s. Like sample 013, this one has a connection to Cherokee Co. NC, and it seems likely that William P. Holder and Newman Jackson Holder are brothers, probably sons of William Holder and Elizabeth Jackson.
