Keely Brown

As a singer and pianist, Keely Brown has already enjoyed an international career. While still in her teens she began performing in some of the top hotels in the United States, putting to use her training as a concert pianist and opera singer. While her nightclub repertoire embraces popular, jazz, and Broadway song standards, she has also continued a successful career as a classical singer. A few years ago she toured Scandinavia as a nightclub entertainer, and afterwards toured as a singer in England, where she performed twice for and was presented to Her Majesty the Queen, after having already sung for other members of the Royal Family, including Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret and the Duke of Westminster.

While in -England she was selected to be the solo performer for the centennial year concerts of the prominent charity Invalid Children's Aid Nationwide, under the patronage of the Royal Family and the Duke of Westminster. She has also performed many times on BBC radio and television, and was featured in a profile on CNN that was broadcast internationally. While Miss Brown is a versatile musical performer, she specializes in opera, operetta, theater music, and the American Popular Song. Before living in Europe, she did some local theater in Atlanta, most notably playing the role of Lili in a community production of CARNIVAL, sponsored by Mercer University. Currently, Miss Brown hosts her own daily two-hour show on WGKA 1190 AM Radio in Atlanta, and also hosts the Afternoon Drive show as well as acting as assistant Program Director to the owner of the station. In the recent past she has also hosted news and information shows for cable television , and in addition has done voice-over work.
