The following explains how to remove various trim pieces and
ultimately the Becker radio.

Remove the ash tray insert.  Remove the two screws deep inside.

Starting with the top edge, carefully pry up the shift hole trim.
It is secured by four tabs as shown.  For installation make
sure these tabs fit back into their slots.

Remove one screw that secures back part of wood trim.
Carefully wiggle/pry the horizontal wood trim piece up,
grasp it from the back.  You are trying to slowly wiggle the
side mirror and fader controls out of their sockets.  These
will remain attached to the trim while the window switches
will remain attached to the console.

Once loose you can pull the whole piece out and set it aside.
Be aware of the holding tabs at the top of the piece.

Once the horiz. wood trim is out you can remove the whole
ash tray assembly.  The only thing holding it in is some
wiring that can be easily unplugged.

With the ash tray assembly gone you can now see two plastic
tabs under each side of the Becker.  Push and hold down
these tabs and wiggle the radio out. I was able to grasp the
radio from the bottom of the tape door push one tab and slide
one side out a bit.  Then the other tab/side a bit and then the
whole thing slide out.  Be careful you don't bust the tape door.
