From the CD "Frisbee Bomb Craters"

The World and I

I was tossed from the church and left in the rain.
My lackadaisical teachers said my dreams were all in vain.
I read the news and laugh, I read the news and cry.
I don't need no misdirection from every prophet in sight.

The world and I don't see eye to eye.
We push and pull until I break down and cry.
You go your way and I'll go mine.

A member of no club, a part of no machine.
I define myself as "ME", and not as an actor in a scene.
My pride my beliefs society will indict.
Undefinable, Individual I think I need a copyright.

The world and I don't see eye to eye.
We push and pull until I break down and cry.
You go your way and I'll go mine.
