FORT WORTH - Vivian Louise Elliston, a homemaker, died Monday at a Fort Worth retirement community. She was 73.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Shannon North Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Elliston was born in Ranger. She lived most of her life in Fort Worth.
She was a member of First Christian Church.

She was the widow of Sam H. Elliston Jr.

Survivors: Two sons, Sam H. Elliston III of Plano and Kenneth B.
Elliston of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was married to Sam Houston Elliston Jr. (son of Sam Houston Elliston and Randy Lou Thomas) on 26 Jun 1937 in Roswell, Chaves County, New Mexico. Sam Houston Elliston Jr. was born on 10 Sep 1910 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. He died on 19 May 1987 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. FORT WORTH - Phillip Edward Elliston, a landscaper, died Thursday at his Fort Worth home. He was 40.

There will be no services. His body will be cremated. Shannon North Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Elliston had been a lifelong resident of Tarrant County.

Survivors: Mother, Vivian Elliston of Fort Worth; and two brothers, Sam Elliston III of Plano and Ken Elliston of Fort Worth.
