George L. Grant Dies Near Providence.

George L. Grant, 69, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at his home in Crittenden county near Providence.

Survivors are the wife, Myrtle; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Kelley and Mrs. Lena Childers of Providence rural route, and Miss Lucille Grant of Johnson City, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jean Trover, Tunnell Hill, Ill.; stepson, Loren Luster, Elyria, Ohio; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Charlie Moake, Marion, Ill.; and two brothers, Eulas of Marion, Ill.; and Louis of Harrisburg, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lake Creek Baptist Church in Johnson City, Ill., with Rev. Ila Whitfield of Mortons Gap officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
