Train: 78" long 2nd Tier/Layer: 35" long 1st Tier/Layer: 18" long
I found this wedding gown while hunting for my own wedding. I fell in love with it - even though I'm a size 10. I bought it for the fabric. I knew a seamstress who could turn it into something amazing.
Her immediate suggestion was to use the center back of the train (2 bottom photos) as the top of a strapless dress. Then the remaining curve of the train could be used to create the back. Can you imagine? The whole back being embroidered cutwork?
Even if the sheath dress isn't your cup of tea, there is enough fabric to play with. You just have to be creative.
Fabric of this quality goes for $60 to $100 a yard. You can confirm that at JoAnn's or Hancock fabrics.
