Welcome To The Home Page Of

The Steel Magnolia

Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a gifted and beautiful Princess. She lived with her handsome Prince (who was also a Knight of the Cyber Round Table), two lovely daughters and a host of magical creatures who guarded their family in magical ways. Then, one fateful day, the Princess undertook a long journey to far away lands. She lived amongst strange people while doing secret and magical things, and she saw many wondrous sights. Then, one morning she realized that she had changed. She was no longer just a Princess, she had become a Steel Magnolia. This site is dedicated to the many strange and wonderful things in the world. It will always be under construction because the world, and the Steel Magnolia, are dynamic and ever changing.

'The Saga of The Steel Magnolia' is chronicled below. If you want to be included on the regular mailing list, send email to the web site. We like to trade stories with other travelers. BTW, the photo is genuine. I, however, will not disclose the date. We started off with fantasy...right?

Okay, back to reality. This site has something for everyone. I have included fun, food, adventure (both real and imagined), and of course...links to other sites for your enjoyment. There will be areas pushing the envelope of serious debate and forums for the ridiculous. We celebrate technology while appreciating the simple pleasures of our forefathers. Hopefully, we will learn much from each other.

Enjoy!

You won't find a counter at this site. I decided that it would take too much work to have one. Actually, it isn't any trouble to have the counter on the home page, but I would spend way toooooo much time hitting the site from my office. After all, I wouldn't want to be one of those sites with four visitors in four years, so I'd have to pump up the numbers and...well like I said before. It would take too much time. :-)))
