Such a good deal, a new year...don't you think. This one is already starting off with a bang. The weather here in Plano today is very pleasant. I've been watching all the sci-fi that I can stand while other members of the family have been having their football orgy. To each his own.
The turn of the was actually very quiet. In Roswell, every moron in the area would have let loose all of the illegal fireworks in their possession. As well as any other device they had that would make noise. Here? Well, I didn't hear the first firecracker or other noise. Refreshing actually to be able to sleep through the night. I said my happy's at 9PM as usual, 5AM still arrives without regard to holidays.
Well, my baby will be leaving soon. Miss Katherine spent yesterday in Dallas with her Air Force recruiter taking her tests. Proud Momma that I am, I have to say that she blew the tests right out of the water. Needless to say they are VERY happy to have her. I guess teaching the kiddo at home has paid off. Oh well... She leaves for service soon. Kinda melancholy actually. You spend years preparing children to go out on their own, and then they actually to it. I guess I'll have to find something else to do with all the free time. :-)))
No, the screen play isn't finished yet.
Fifty-three days till 'G' Day. That's GrandMa Day. February 23rd is the date for Lily. Light a candle for her and her Momma, Elizabeth Anne.
The passed few weeks have been quiet. Exciting things in the wind. More on this later.
