The purpose of Custom Backup is to allow the user to copy folders to a backup disk with the freedom of being able to copy just one folder or any number of folders, up to 30, or to copy all 30 folders to a backup disk. Custom Backup not only copies the folders, but always puts them back in the same position. It is especially effective with Zip disks as the backup disk, however, any disk may be used. Also will stuff files or folders to the selected destination. This feature requires StuffIt 3.5+.

The purpose of this program is to allow the user to immediately create a list of the contents of any of the user's folders. This includes the hard disk or any other disk as a disk is considered a folder. It will format the list into an easily printable format. Creates an automatic index. Also, checks for duplicates between any two disks or folders. In addition, the stack will return the folder positions, modification dates, and sizes of all the folders on a disk or in a folder. Memory settings for all applications can also be obtained and/or changed.

The Mileage Finder will find the distances between 1,800 cities or locations. It will create an itinerary schedule that will give the distance between each location of the itinerary, and the total distance covered. Calculates distances by great circle method in both statute miles and kilometers.

Records personal property items by index cards from which a list can be automatically formatted. Up to 18 categories can be designated and totaled including a grand total. Replacement costs can also be tabulated. Any, or all categories, can be periodically automatically depreciated at a pre-selected percentage at the touch of a button.

Phone System consists of 5 HyperCard stacks to keep track of all your phone numbers and addresses, plus phone books, phone logs, phone records, mailing list, and 1 additional stack to track all the events in your life.
Everything for phone calls and addresses emanates from the Phone File stack. All entries are made to the Phone File, no other. The Phone List, and Phone Mailing List both derive their data from the Phone File. The only other file that the user actually enters data into is the Phone Log, and there, only for the purposes of making notes. We think the Phone List and Phone Mailing List produced by this system is superior to what is obtained through the Print Report method under HyperCard's File menu. It gives you a mailing list that prints in the old Apple WYSIWYG principal.

Retirement Kit calculates the longevity of a retirement fund from a set monthly withdrawal. It also calculates the number of years required to meet a retirement fund goal at a set monthly investment or conversely, it calculates the amount funded over a specific length of time at a set monthly contribution. Lastly, it calculates the required disbursement from IRA funds for those over 70 1/2 years.
