These are a Few of My Favorite
User Friendly: Think Bloom County inhabited by computer geeks. Gini's Cool Graphics on the Web: There's a lot of stuff at the site, plus links to even more--clip art, animated gifs, fonts, etc. An invaluable resource for those of us without the time to learn all the ins and outs of a good paint program. Arden Online--This site has two areas--the pay area gives you access to the entire Arden Shakespeare. The second area, which is free, has online research tools. The Weather Channel: I spend 60% of the year on the road. One week I'm in Tampa, the next, Columbia, SC, then L.A. I need to know what to pack! The Islets of Langerhans: Harlan Ellison is one of my favorite writers. This isn't exactly his site--he detests the web--hell, he still works on a manual typewriter--but a devoted group of acolytes maintain this site.
Horror Classics: Check this site out! The Brunching Shuttlecocks: The perfect place to go for your daily dose of oddball humor. A personal favorite is "The Phantom Menace Revealed." Web Tracker: A solid web counter service that also provides great statistics--even telling you if people are returning to your site.
