Elder Lawrence of the Lemba community in Mberengwe, Zimbabwe. The Lemba in Mberengwe are mainly rural farmers, living traditional Lemba lives. Lawrence is holding a kudu horn, which the community uses to call its members to important community events such as the return of the boys from their circulcision ceremony, and a hatchet. When a Lemba man dies he passes both to his first-born son.
