Dr. Jack Beven's Images of Gallifrey 2002

The Gallifrey science fiction convention is normally annually at President's Day Weekend in Los Angeles, California. I attend when possible, and I've had a pretty good time. Here's some pictures I took at the 2002 Gallifrey.

Here are the Doctor Who Guests of Honor (56K JPG) hamming it up in front of the TARDIS! From left to right, Anneke Willis (who played Polly), Frazier Hines (who played Jamie) and Carole Ann Ford (who played Susan).

This sequence includes some of the other Doctor Who book/audio/video creators and producers. The first picture (53K JPG) is of the book authors, including (from left to right) Paul ("Book of the Still") Steib, Paul (Cricket Master) Cornell, Jon Blum, David Howe, Caroline Symcox, Rob Shearman, Dave (Cicada) Stone, and Keith Topping.

The second (41K JPG) is the group from Big Finish Productions, including (from left to right)Jason Haigh-Ellery, Nick Briggs, Maggie Staples, and Mark McDonnell. The third (37K JPG) is of Nev Fountain and Dan Freedman, who produced the recent BBC Doctor Who Internet audio drama "Death Comes To Time". Next (63K JPG) are fan video makers Rupert Booth, Steve Johnson, and Bill Baggs. Last (40K JPG), but certainly not least, is a picture of fan videographer Keith Barnfather along with Nick Briggs.

This sequence is of guests from series other than Doctor Who. The first picture (76K JPG) is part of the crew from the show Andromeda. Featured from left to right are Joe Reinkemeyer (producer), Zack Stentz (writer), Keith Hamilton Cobb (plays Tyr), Gordon Michael Woolvett (plays Seamus Harper), and Robert Engels (head writer).

The second picture (51K JPG) is Virginia Hey, who played Zhaan on Farscape.

The third picture (40K JPG) is of Bob May, who played the Robot on Lost In Space and Celeste Yarnall, who was a guest star on Star Trek.

Here are a couple of miscellaneous pictures. The first (59K JPG) is a group shot of the contestants in the Masquerade/Costume Contest. The second (51K JPG) is from the Saturday Morning Internet Fans gathering, which featured more friends and acquaintences than I could easily list here!
