Historical Marker for Camp McDonald. This marker is located north of Marietta, Georgia on the west side of U. S. Highway #41 between Dobbs Drive and Kennesaw Due West Road, in front of the Windsor Inn Motel. The arrow on the marker points east.

Monument to Company G.

At the first reunion held in 1895, Capt. Harry P. Meikleham, Superintendent of the Massachusetts Mills at Lindale, Georgia gave them a bit bit of ground 10 feet  square, on which they erected a monument which bears the names of the company's officers.

Plaque bearing the monument's inscription. When the information for the plaque was taken from the monument, it was mis-read as company C.

View of Silver Creek Presbyterian Church, Lindale, Georgia. The company G monument is located in the rear of the church. This was the original encampment of   The Fireside Defenders. Silver Creek is in the foreground.
