Here are the facts about myself:

My full name is James Williams Herndon.
My internet name, 'jimbills', is a play on my middle name.
I live in Rockwall, Texas.
I'm a portrait and wedding photographer in Garland, Texas.
I'm married to Erin McGrew Herndon, an actress and musician.
We have one dog and two cats.
I used to maintain my web page; I no longer do so on a regular basis.

For all you Herndon genealogists out there, "Hi." Here's what I know: I was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to Lee and Libby Herndon in 1969. I have one brother, Michael Lee Herndon, and one sister, Laura Kathleen Herndon. My father grew up in Texas and his parents are Mary Lou Herndon and Louis Perkins Herndon. Louis's parents lived in Dublin, Texas, for most of their lives and are buried there (as is Louis). Louis's siblings were Perk, Charles, and Lib Herndon. A prominent family relation from Dublin are the Williams - hence my middle name. That's about all I know. Please don't email me unless you are certain you know one of these Herndons. At some point I will be more involved in geneaology, but I am not now.

For those of you who know me or think you might know me, a big "Hi!". Perhaps we met in Davis, California, as little sprouts in the late '70's, or at W.T. Woodson from 1984 to 1988 (class of '88) in Fairfax, Virginia, as surly teenagers, or at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, as slacker students from 1988 to 1993.
