Kate Brasher
In 2001, Mary Stuart Masterson starred in the CBS television series
Kate Brasher as a single mom who changed her life when she
ended up working for a community advocacy center. Mary Stuart was
joined by Rhea Perlman (Cheers) as lawyer Abbie Schaeffer
and Chicago Hope alum Hector Elizondo as center director
Joe Almeida. Gregory Smith and Mason Gamble played Masterson's teenage
sons. Kate Brasher premiered on February 24, 2001 and aired
on Saturdays at 9:00pm on CBS. The series was not picked up for
a second season.
