Aaagh!! I knew someone would ask this!!! I'm moving house at the
moment, and my "B&J" screenplay is in one of two million boxes.

As I recall (and I only read it a month ago), Joon was in her late
thirties and Benny was about five years younger. I think that, after
the accident, they went to live with their grand-parents until they
died, then Benny became Joon's guardian.

The characters of Joon and Sam were different, also. They came across
as being more worldly and more knowing than they were played by MSM
and Depp (and, in some scenes, less likeable).

Time to go home and pack more boxes. Hope this helps and/or is of
interest. Wow, has this list woken up in the last few days! :-)
